Actually, there's two of em. I knew about Fok.nl but never really gave it much attention. I also didn't know it was that big. Gathering of tweakers sounds like shady business to me, but it's also a pretty big community.

The only Dutch forum where i'm registered is FTD, which is, with somewhat 100.000 members, also pretty big.

Don't make comments like this, as you have no idea of the statistics---I do! And we have WAY more like 1300+ members very active weekly. Which is awesome!
1300 sounds right .. big numbers, 200 seems way small. I come on here at all times of the day and night and see way many more people than 200. ... I wonder could we have a Ironworks weekend where all the old members where contacted to come online and post again and to catch up. How many could the server handle Ziroc?

Forum software could handle thousands at once, server, about 1000 at on time BUT, bandwidth would prevent that, as that is what would crap out fast.

Cool! I can see why, though, I don't go to many boards but none of them is quite as big as we are here. The closest is about half as large.

Don't forget, there's plenty of people with lives who only visit one or two of the gaming forums. I've probably seen over 200 in the last month just on the IWD/HoW and IWD2 forums, and they both used to be pretty slow.

Lets not forget the 'guests' that log on. so many of them will be members people pop in to read or quickly drop a post then vanish. take right now for example 43 logged in and 40 guests
