One on one a shadow priest or holy priest will likely beat me unless I have the felpup out. Then I'll probably win. What really fun is watching him solo mages.

Mages are cake for a shadow priest, those fights were always easy. Silence, Dispel Magic, Shield, Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, Vampiric Embrace, jump and hop around them (most of their big damage spells require the target to be in front) while their life seeps away. If they are still standing after the DoTs are gone, Mind Blast and Mindflay made sure they wern't for very long.

On my mage i just have to sheep, and if they use the trinket, sheep again, run to a distance, cast a pyro and a fireball, PoM then pyro again, fireblast and if they use mind blast i can cast counterspell. Mages are kind of in a balence with pvp because you can kill and be killed just as easy. (same goes with rogue)

TL, warlocks definately do not suck. Have you tried the saccubbus tank nuke tactic? Owns basicly everything with ease. Not being a warlock myself i don't know how it goes, but with the sacc seducing you ever second its hard to beat.

BTW, we decided on 3 mages, awesome AoE.

Seduce/Nuke is kinda fun but in reality it's hard to use these days. First, they put Seduce and Fear on the same Diminishing Returns timer. Second, the ability of Locks to CC gets nerfed EVERY SINGLE PATCH.

So basically it ends up being a game of seduce -- wind up a SB -- hit seduce eleventy billion times during the 2.5 casting of a SB, hit, seduce breaks, etc. etc. It's kinda annoying. But yeah, I've done the seduce/nuke thing.

With my spec in BG's I'm all about the instant-cast DOTs. Keep the felpup out and any priest, mage or (may favorite) Paladin is my bizzatch.

So, it's hella fun. You like PVP and Locks are great for that.

I'm more of a PVE raider, and in that regard we're basically taxis, soul stoners, banishers, and second-rate DPS'ers. A mage sits there hitting frostbolt over and over and over, and destroys me on damage meters while I'm busy casting COE to give him more of a damage boost.

Ughh.... I'll hush up now.
