They also have a special tranquil shot ability that's needed on Magdamar.
Although in most 5man groups you will not see a "LF Hunter"...unless perhaps UBRS (kiting Drakkisath)

In MC Hunters rock. End of. I'd much rather have constant damage 41 yards away from a hunter than a few yards away with a rogue getting flamed *grin*

And pet pulls FTW

"plus tauren start with gun and have to train bow, orcs start with bow."

hmm... does that mean that orcs are better than taurens with bows? or doesn't that matters?

I don't want to play with guns anyway.

It means that tauren start out knowing how to use guns, and you have to pay a weapon master to train a bow. With orcs, it's the other way around.

What class you begin with somewhat relys on what type of server you will be playing on. For example, if you play on a PvP server you will want a class that can hold their own if they get jumped by one or two opponents while training. If you play an RP server, pick what class compliments your personality.

I recently reached lvl 60 with my priest, and found it to be extemely fun. Priests, even if shadow, are the most needed class in the game, and arguably one of the most powerful. With shadow spec, a priest is one of the best soloers in the game (Hunters and maybe Warlocks win here). Shadow priests are also one of the most feared classes in PvP, due to their great ability to maintain high, efficient DPS while silencing, fearing, DoTing, and otherwise screwing over the opposing team. Finding a group for PvE wont be a problem, since everyone likes a good healer.

Whichever class you choose, good luck!

Rogues are another fun class to play.. That is until 40 when they get deprived of better armour. Then they get wtfpwned by warriors.
Hunters are a good starting class, in my opinion, because they are the lvl kings of the game. It only takes something like 3 weeks to ding 40 at least.

Go Horde, the good choice Also don't go in wsg 1 - 19, Ally twinks overpopulate it.

Before you decide which class to play, I think you should focus on something more basic; the server on which you play.

You should try and find a server that has a time close to your own, once you get to 60 you'll likely be in a guild that will raid, and you will wish to raid as well. One thing I'm having a big problem with is the raid TIMING... I'm on the East Coast and my server, Proudmoore, is west coast. There's a 3-hour difference between us, so when people are raiding at 8pm server time, it's 11pm for (my bed time for school term). You should try and find a server that has a time zone close to yours on http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realms...sort=UTCOffset

Hallo!

Now I've been playing for 2 days with my tauren hunter, and I'm at the moment lvl13 and have just entered the barrens and reached the camp named crossroads.

This far, I can say that WoW isn't what i expected.. ;/
But I hope it will become better when I can do some instances along with my friends.
Today it seems to be some weekly maintenance of the server so I have to wait.

Make two chars, and see which you like. Horde and Alliance. You can get a better veiw from each faction this way.

Make sure that in Crossroads you talk to the Flight Path master, the guy next to the wyverns in the middle of the camp. He won't say anything, but you need to activate the Flight Path so you can fly back. Crossroads is literally a crossroads for many many flight paths in Kalimdor, which is the name of the continent you're on. Yes, there is another continent.

If you don't like the game already, then I'm sorry for you. Maybe it's not your cup of tea. Yes, doing instances in groups -- and don't fool yourself, a lot of the overland grind requires groups -- is the most fun way to play the game. Period. 20 and 40-man raids with voice chat are a frikkin riot.
