Well, if you're that experienced then sure, you don't need auctioneer. For me it was a godsend in selling as a first-timer. Especially since I was always weighing the decision to disenchant an item versus sell it.
Which is where enchantrix comes in -- it tells you what reagents and item disenchants into. And, both of these programs collect and update by getting information specific to your own server over time. Nifty.

I like auctioneer and enchantrix, but I use auctioneer for the vendor price of items so I know what gray and white to pick, and I use enchantrix to know if I should vendor or disenchant that green.
