As far as paying monthly credit or gametime is your only choice. A debit card will work the same way once it has a Visa sign or whatever on it.

If you are on your free trial month you simply need someones credit card number - assure them they won't be billed and cancel/deactivate your account before your trial is up. If by some chance you overstay you could easily pay that person the cash monthly if they'd so allow it. There is no way to 'rack up' a credit card really on your WoW account. GL!

Cooking, First Aid, and Fishing are all Secondary professions. You can learn all three in addition to two Professions.

Secondly, for professions with your troll hunter, it depends on what you want to do. PvE, Skinning/LW is a great combo, and you supply your own armor. Skinning/Mining combined with collecting cloth=uber cash uber fast. PvP, well... Don't worry about PvP until end game. And hopefully by then Blizzard will have straightened the hunter. But Engineering/Mining is an amazing PvP profession style mainly because you get bombs that stun. Stun stun stun.
