Actually, both English and Dutch are West-Germanic languages, which means they've both descended from the same language, but have literally "grown apart" over the centuries; mostly due to different outside influences. The Germanic languages were first introduced in the British Isles during the Anglo-Saxon invasions, by the way.
And for the record, "I'm going to the zoo" is actually "Ik ga naar de dierentuin" in Dutch. [/QUOTE]Yeah, well, I overreacted. No offense, it's just that Dutch words look kinda silly when they're written(I don't know the pronounciation well).

There are lots of sites out there with the same sort of idea, take Hot or Not for instance. No idea where the idea originated and honestly I dont really care

No offense, but the Estonian language has "some" similarities with the Finnish language as well...It actually sounds like some odd dialect of Finnish. Not neccessarily a bad thing, since it helps communication between our nations.
