Just another detail: did you know France, the UK and Germany will always get a place in the final, even if they get zero points the year before? They dont even have to get through the qualifying round.

It isn't really a song contest. It seemed like it for a brief while in the end nineties, but now people vote for the neighbour country again. I predict an Eastern European nation will win from now on and until humanity realise the song contest is a silly phantom that will never come true. It's a nice idea in theory, but I fail to see why I have to listen to poor songs just to find out which nation luvs which nation.
I have no idea where Denmark finished and I couldn't care less.
Gratz to Ukraine. Got a lot of friends out there, and that is nice to know.

Too true. Btw, did you hear what the Latvian juror said when he adressed the Turks, who were on top at that time ? He said: I hear you all cheering. Must be because you are in the final round.... but that's okay....we'll be cheering next month when Latvia is playing in the final round of the European footballchampionship.

OUCH !!! That must have hurt overthere, the Latvians forced the Turks to the playoffs against the English, and we all know how that ended. That guy better not show up in Istanbul anytime soon. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]
