Hands down Zoarre! Man was that a game and for the time the graphics. I mean how could you beat those graphics? [img]smile.gif[/img]

I think my favorite all time game still goes to Bard's Tale. I have not seen anything that beats it.

ff7 all the way it was the base of rpgs it revolutionized the rpg business as we know it.

PnP Dungeons and Dragons is the best RPG of all time, because it's a never-ending game. I've been playing for six years, and I still haven't been disappointed by it.

I vote secondly for the FF series, FF7 and 9 were masterpieces for the RPG world as well as Grandia.

1. Diablo isn't much of an RPG its more of a hack & slash
2. FF7 is great!!!!!!!!!!
3. I dont know what some of the RPGs are that u people mentioned (Daggerfall?)
4. I probably don't know alot of RPGs, cuz i like in australia and USA gets most of them

Planescape Torment.. not a single RPG (that I have played) has come close.

well, I voted for Baldur's Gate series, mostly because I love SoA too much ^_*
(I like FF series as well, especially FF7, but not to the point that I'm addicted to SoA)

however, I think the list is flaw to begin with! why Neverwinter Nights is up there while fallout series and Planescape Torment aren't? by what criteria are those games/series listed? what separate them from "other"?

i too like fallout game too but they are pretty old you know. it could be he hasnt played them or havent heard about them.

For years i loved ff7 more than any other game in the world, and i hated ff8.
But not long ago i saw ff8 on the shelf really cheap and couldnt help myself but buy it, and ever since i finally finished it, it has now become my favourite game.
The final fantasy series is by far my favourite series, i have finished most of them on the playstation(1) and nintendo but have never played 10, apparently it is good.

my second choice would have to be BG series.
