I really doubt it that the site contained a virus, your pc gets a shock by the popup (and with low-mid level based pc's they crash) and can easily be counterd with a ctrl-alt-delete in my case (pop-up killer did miracles to though)

This thing has gone to my entire msn list (not by me) and ICQ area, and I didn't saw anything about a virus or such a similiar thing.

If it is/was a virus, then I again apoligize....
i am not sure anymore i cant even get an anti virus to work on it, it crashes before it completes

Virus scanner crashing partway is a good sign of a virus being present. Unfortunately, they often disable virus scanners.

Makes it hard to ID it. Try running housecall at the link I gave above. If you can find out what it is, its a lot easier to kill.

Speaking of viruses, is PC-cillin a good anti-virus program? I got PC-cillin 2000, it came as a bundle software with the motherboard. The link that andrewas provided was to the company that made the anti-virus program.

Usually, it'll just corrupt one file so either you can contain it and attempt to repair it or just erase it if you don't really need it.

What??, your husband is going to porn sites when he has you. That is just plain rude and mean to you.
