Gammit, I'm so sorry to hear that. Your mum will need a lot of support so give her a big hug - you can help each other to get through the grief. You are both in my thoughts.

Tell your Mom that Your Nana is now at peace and will never again know pain. She is in the arms of God, and he will comfort her and take her to where her friends and family that went before her are waiting to welcome her to life everlasting and that she will be there for your mom and you when your time comes. I have lost almost everyone of my grandparents I had 8 of them, 4 were blood and 4 were step Grandparents but to me they were all blood. When I finally get to where they are I,m afraid the small army that waits for me will hug me 'till my wings pop off.
Keep your chin up and remember there are 11,000 members of Ironworks behind you and your Mom.

How do you say "Goodbye" to the one that raised you from a child?
How do you let go of someone so kind, loving, tender, and mild?
She brought you into this world, nurtured you, and watched you grow.
She guided you, cared for you, and taught you everything you know.
During the storms of life, she was your anchor, as solid as stone,
How can someone who was so strong now be gone?

The pain in your heart is so deep, will this wound ever heal?
Time is supposed to ease the pain, but you don't think it will.
A piece of your soul is gone and nothing will ever fill the emptiness there,
Does God know how bad you hurt? Does our Great Creator even care?
God does know your pain, for He had to watch His own son die.
And even God had to turn His back, so noone would see Him cry.

God knows your grief and His infinite love will see you through.
And in this time of deep despair, He has a message for you.
Your loved one isn't gone, she has simply moved on.
To enter the Gates of Heaven and be greeted by the Son.
As He wraps her in His arms and warmly says "Welcome Home".

Gammit - Please accept my deepest condolescences for your loss and let your mom know that I will be lifting her up in prayer. I pray that God would be close to each of you during this time and that He will carry you through the grieving process. Your Nana will never be gone, she will continue to live in your hearts and memories. The joy she brought and the love she shared can never be erased.

I grieve for you loss, but I also take comfort in knowing that there is a new angel in Heaven today.

I too am very sorry to hear this Gammit! I lost my grandmother this past summer and I know how hard it is to deal with the loss. My sympathies to you and your family.
