Just think: all of this moght not have happened if we didn't decide to go to war...
War had nothing to do with it. It was a medical condition unrelated to combat.

It is a shame though.

Ahh man, that's horrible. I always enjoyed watching and listening to his reports on Iraq and what was going on with the war. Hopefully he'll rest in peace

While it is true that lack of movement and dehydration could contribute to the development of a blood clot, a "normal" person does not get blood clots under those conditions. I hate to say it but he may have had the same rare condition I have that went undiagnosed before it was too late.

I have to say that it was in all probabilty not a painless death, but hopefully it was quick.

[/QUOTE]Well, wasn't he reporting on the war, and if the war hadn't started, he wouldn't've had to report, and so he would'nt have sat on the truck, so he might not have died.
The war was responsible in the long run.

It's very sad that someone should die though, whatever happened. I feel really sorry for his family, I know what it was like when my gran died a couple of years ago. It's always awful.

If this violates the TOS, then mods please delete, but otherwise, I got this info from NBC and thought I'd pass it along in case anyone was interested.
