I have no problem with people discussing how to install and use legal software. However, if you start using this forum to link to warez sites or try to arrange to swap cracked or pirated software via file sharing programmes, you will be given a very quick and severe cyber-slap

However, others may not agree with my stance, so if in doubt, take such questions to e-mail or MSN.
And this is what the rules say is it not?

The first three questions are enquiring about a legal software. The 4th question could of course be considered asking about illegal use. Jus my opinion of course. I never use Kazaa or some such myself.

Some people find it hard to understand that KaZaA can be used in legal ways. Its an excellent way to get past those @%#%! fileplanet waiting lists for instance...

Hmmm... KaZaA Lite... is that better (newer) or worse than KaZaA version 2.0.2? And if better, where can I download it?

Kazaa is a great way of getting song you'd never get otherwise
and it's a great way of testing songs before you buy them (I know i got a couple of cd's coz i liked what i dl-ed)

It Can be used for piracy but then again you can also use browsers to download pirated stuff or ftp-servers and we talk about them freely aswell

KaZaA Lite is exactly like KaZaA. Only difference is that it lacks the thousands of spy-wares that can invade your computer if you use regular KaZaA.
To find it, simply do a search on google.com

To let you all know I am right:

http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...=013769#000000

I wasn't allowed to discuss p2p programs (i.e. KaZaA) back then, so I certainly don't think it is allowed now.

Question - if I hold the shattered remains of my favorite CD in my hands, then is it legal for me to download the tracks and burn myself a replacement? I reckon it is since I bought a license to listen to the music when I bought the CD, the CD is just a convinient way of delivering the music to me.
