I used to love Transformers. One quote I'll never forget: (Optimus Prime to Megatron) "Pick on a mechanism your own size!"

That one had me in hysterics

Forms of Optimus Prime? WTF? He's an 18-wheeler, plain and simple. All the crap that came later is actually a DIFFERENT toy riding on the coat-tails of the good stuff. Beastwars - pffft. They can go to hell with Serpentor for all I care.

I got one free with a Wendy's Kids Meal several years ago. It didn't look like a robot or a car (which I think were the two forms) and it broke in about three days. I'm guessing that's not what they're all like...

I used to love them. My brother and I saw the movie about 10 times when we were kids. I say used to, because I was involved for 3 years with a guy who was obsessed with them, to the point that he'd even spend our rent money on them. To the point where people coming to our place thought we had a kid because there were so many of them all over the entire apartment. I'm just now slowly getting back into them.
Starscream was my favorite as a kid!

Man, I LOVED the Transformers!! I had hours upon hours of fun with all my toys... I always used to imitate the "transforming" sound effect while I was changing them from car to robot and back again.
Optimus Prime ruled!! I also loved Wheeljack and Grimlock.
Starscream was a blast and so was Soundwave with his various minion cassettes!
Aaahhh.... Nostalgia!
I loved in Beast Wars when they showed the originals.... That was cool... Or when Starscream's "spark" came back.
The movie was cool, too. I still have the soundtrack.
Oh, and Spike swore in the movie. That shocked me.
I loved the voice of Optimus Prime (he also did Venger on D+D)

Darn you, Sigmar, for this post! I just got out of a meeting and I can't tell you 1/2 of what was said because I had "Transformers, more than meets the eye..." going through my head the whole time
