I'd rather not let fdisk etc. mess around with my partitions so I'll create the space with PartionMagic (which I have used a lot so I trust it) and then format using the Linux tools.

Anyway yeah I'll read the intructions when I get round to doing this which probably won't be for a week or two.

Just so you know, linux has a tool called fdisk as well; no relation to windows fdisk.
