As my mother would say, "My daughter ruthlessly climbed down the ladder of success". None of the men I married (there were 3) had money. NOT ONE. Now after I had been with them a bit, things turned around. But I never went out with a guy with money, and I never will.

As my mother would say (she had a lot of these), "If you marry for money, you earn it."

Life is too short.

I know I am an exception to the rule, but dating a guy who was goodlooking (usually too self absorbed for me) or had money (again, trying to hard to impress) was more of a chore than a good time. Ick.
