That's the saddest part of all! You have to have some serious self-esteem issues to do that much damage to your face in hopes of 'repairing' it or making it 'better'.

His soul if not his face. A plastic surgeon explained to me that sometimes that happens when they remove too much cartilage from the nose when trying to reduce the size and reshape it. The saddest thing is that cartilage NEVER regenerates.

I agree, it's sad that his self-esteem drove him to disfigure himself in such a way. He must truly live in a personal Hell...

On a really tacky note, he kinda resembles the female ape from the original "Planet of the Apes"...

I think it's really sad. Proves that fame and wealth don't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things, if you can end up doing that to yourself.

I do feel sorry for him, he didn't have a chance at a normal childhood being thrust into stardom the way he was, there was no way that wasn't going to badly affect him. I think he was really quite an attractive man before he started the surgery, he had a nice face when he was younger, always looked friendly and kind. It's sad the way people can turn out.
