How did you manage pink? lol
Thanks for taking the initiave to convert and send it...I had not seen your post when I last posted.
The "transparent" indicator for GIF files in Paint Shop Pro is pink... so when you look at a gif and see hot pink you know that it'll be transparent when the gif is actually put on a page (basically identical to the Blue Screen they use in movies). Works cool but makes it hard to tell what the final image is going to look like... because the pink is so BRIGHT.

No problem converting... it only took a minute to load, convert and mail out, PSP is very handy for stuff like that.

Ah, it is black in mine...(PSP6).
I love the program! So many options and (to me at least) easier to use than Photoshop. Too bad graphic art requires in-depth knowledge of PS! I'd be making a fortune if I could get hired to use PSP LOL!

Check out the link in my sig to Punkinhaid's House! Lots of great graphics art stuff and based mainly on the use of PSP.

I've got PS too but for quick and dirty edits IMO PSP is the fastest/easiest to use tool... although I could be biased because PSP is the first decent editing tool I learned. Now with the layering added to the newest version it really is a powerful package (for amatures like me anyway).

Quick and dirty edits LOL! I don't even open mine anymore, I just keep it installed so that I can use some plug-ins that require that I have it.
I agree with you about PSP. It was my first too (version 5) and although I wouldn't call myself a professional (with only three years experience using the program and I hesitate to upgrade to version 7 lol), as easy as it makes manipulating and creating graphic images, I can make my work look professional at least.
