Hmmm... having a Genome mapped could be interesting, but there is no profit in it. McD's guarantees you one million dollars a year from a resturaunt. I am greedy. I want an investment!

even tho nobody else seems to want it done i think it would be cool. i wonder if it comes in the form of a 3d model, like the double heelix or somthing. now that would be cool (sorry future scientist talking here)

Why put your genome on a CD? Simple!

Get your genome on a CD, rent a safe deposit box, then have your brain preserved when you die. In 150 years, they can create a new body for you, grow it to adulthood, then do a brain transplant. Welcome back!

Nah, theyd just end up with a copy of your body. Your personality and knowledge woudnt be preserved. (That takes several DVDs IIRC).

Of course your clone would have your inherited tendencies so would probably be as good an artist. But its work woudnt be recognisably yours, since it would have different influences. Might be totally the opposite of what you do.
