Yeah, in Bg1, I thought that the sword, spiders bane was just soooo awesome, but now.....not really

I took them out in ch. 2, i went up there, insulted them, then fought lol. it took a few tries but i allways insulted them during the dialoge so i would fight them right away. i eventuly beat em and was happy [img]smile.gif[/img]

Perhaps this says something about the balance of BG1 and how some game developers truly do understand how to create challenge without frustrating the player. The only exception being how BG1 was heavily weighed towards fighters, i.e., weapons. I remember going to get Dynaheir and how the enemy kept swarming my way. It was exciting and you were forced to use every weapon, spell and tactic you could think of.
