Very true johnny.. I bet everyone on this world knows what happened on that tuesday. But IMO the Americans may do whatever they want, but if they want to honor someone (how the hell does 'patriot' fit in??) they should honor the rescue workers who died that day, and the people in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.. that's just my

Moni, I agree with you 100% on this.

Personally, I'm not even going to get online on Sept. 11; not watch TV, nor listen to radio, because I am bound and determined to avoid this exploitative "media circus" that they have been building up like a freaking snowball for the past three months. It wouldn't surprise me if they have a huge event in New York City and pass out Twin Towers shaped popsicles to the kiddies. It's disgusting!

I hear New Zealand is very nice, climate wise it is a great deal like California. Plus they have cool accents

Funny but I keep hearing these silly ideas coming from his opposition, trying to somehow tie their party to this event in a psoitive light and deflect the inquiries as to why they decimated the intelligence agencies for the last 10 years and why they had failed to capture the leader of the terrorists when they had him virtually handed to them.

I guess we all have food for thought

I completely agree with you. A victim, does not a patriot or hero make. (since I have a linguistic honesty thread I suppose it makes sense that I distinguish between the words victim, hero and patriot.)

Plus they have cool accents
except they do not allow immigration unless you have a specific skill they want or enough money to buy your way in. There was a big PBS special about this a bit ago. The reasoning was logical though, they don't want riff raff
