i made an elven ranger with the following stats (legit)
Str-17 Dex-19 Con-16 Int-14 Wis-14 Chr-16 i decided to make him an archer, and he dual-wielded shortswords. he said it was too powerful, even though he WATCHED me roll it up. well, i argued, and got to play it. as soon as i left from the tavern that we started in, he told me to roll higher than 13 on a 20 sided dice. i rolled a 12, and was hit by a bolt of lightning, and died. suffice it to say, that sucked!!!

The Concrete Boots:
2 high level players - 1 a mage, 1 a fighter in cave and Gargantuan beholder turns up Fighter pokes out central eye Mage does timestop (no anti-magic now) 2 Delayed Blast Fireballs next to beholder Wall of Stone round beholder Rock to Mud on ceiling *boom* - beholder gets damaged and loses other eyes and gets covererd in mud mage casts Mud to Rock they push the thing off the mountain WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! That mage was played by my brother |
