Soo the klez got to the top ranks eh?Thanks for the warning.Well atleast it's not sending out the Medusa virus.It took my uncle a year to get rid of that one!

Just done a check of my system and it came up with I-Worm/Aplore. But the thing is I got this when I was chatting in MSN with Glorf -

a line came up that said it was from him (but he didn't type it) with a link to Http: a whole bunch of numbers.

Thinking it was from Glorf I clicked the link and it came up with a dwnld, but my AVG also came up and said that I had a virus so I closed all windows and ran AVG getting rid of it but thought I'd give y'all a heads up in case yuou haven't heard of this happenening before (I hadn't)

I scanned my system yesterday (and it came up "clean") after getting a piece of e-mail with an attachment returned to me as unsendable when I never sent it.
I opened the mail to check it out and recognized a name at comcast.net who sent me a virus last week (I only know one person @ comcast.net and opened the mail thinking it may have been from them, but no)....I had downloaded the attached file but did not open it thinking I should probably ask them if they were who I thought they were first.
They were actually kind enough to tell me that the file was a virus, not to open it and that they had no idea how it got sent to me from them.
Anyway, I've been getting gazillions of e-mails over the last couple of days with attachments but have deleted them all.
Downloading the Klez cleaner just in case the scanner missed something.

Nortons runs every Friday evening for me; plus autoprotect is NEVER disabled- I`ll download the checker next month though... (I am be VERY close to the dl cap... and I can`t afford to go over it...)

UPDATE:
Klezfix said the virus was not found on my computer.

Didnt have it on my computer but I got the tool to fix it if it does show up [img]smile.gif[/img]
