If we couldn't pacify Iraq successfully, we have zero chance of doing the same to a far stronger Iran, boosted by high oil prices and the conversion of their main regional rival to a stalwart ally. Airstrikes on their nuclear facilities, probably not a bad idea. Invasion? After you Sir...
