There will always be bad kids who, for whatever reason, feel that they can behave atrociously and get away with it.

But lets not try to paint a picture that the whole young generation is made up of louts, hooligans and psychos. The vast majority of kids are 'normal'. They know the boundaries of right and wrong. They know how to behave, and are for the most part are respectful and polite towards adults.

Unfortunately, there is no media mileage in reporting on well behaved kids. As with every generation before us, the media tries to demonise sections of society, and its normally the old timers complaining about the kids.

I say give them a break. Of course don't tolerate bad behaviour, but equally don't tar all young people with the same brush. The vast majority are good kids.
