Thoran I don't want to spoil a good thing here but I can go the other way and say the only truthful justified argument for the war that I have heard is to free the people of Iraq from a tyrant. The other reasons being spewed were/are possibly total bull. If they had tried this approach from the beginning as opposed to dumping horse manure more countries would have been alongside.
Well, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I disagree that the "manure" wasn't necessary. I don't know what the Coalition Leadership REALLY thinks regarding justification for war, but it's those justifications that you term as cow or horse byproducts that gave them the modicum of a legitimate basis for the action. Sad to say but if anything, I think there would have been MORE resistance to the war if "freeing the Iraqi people" was the only argument. Perhaps all those arguments were only a means to an end, perhaps Pres. Bush and PM Blair actually believe them... I doubt we'll ever know.

How'd you like that kid riding on the head of the statue as they dragged it through the street LOL...I also enjoyed the taking turns with the sledge hammer earlier...the guy who brought it was rushed by those who wanted a turn.
Their actions speak volumes.
priceless the one guy smashing his shoe into Sadam's mouth was funny as well.

Kinda scary to think what they would do to Sadam himself. Can't say I blame them

You know if he is alive, he's thanking their god that he is out of their reach!

I've been digging the shoe throwing and shoe-slapping too...what a huge insult.

Oh Hell yeah! I've always had a deep, deep, DEEP burning fear and hatred towards Saddam Hussien. A pity that piece o' crap ain't dead yet! One thing's for sure, the USA will chase him all the way to here:

I love to see the Iraqi people interacting with the U.S, troops it would be great if this is a lasting feeling of joy and celebration over there. But I keep thinking Syria's next on ol G.W.B.'s list! And what will the world think of us then?
