Regardless what a goverment says doesnt have to be what it's inhabitants think
you can find it a flaw in democracy or you can say it protects the country but it's true

examples are England where 55% disagrees with Blair
and Spain where 92% (!) procent disagrees with their goverment concerning this statement

How many times are you going to have to say that Ronn?

I can understand the wine thing, but I think changing the name from French Fries to freedom fries is a bit ridculious.

Edit-But its nothing new really, during WWII they changed Sourkrout (sp?) to Liberty Cabage or something like that.
Hi dude - I know we don't often agree, but this post is one of those times that we do, AND you added to my knowledge with that "Liberty Cabbage" thing - funny how history seems doomed to repeat things huh. Thanks again.
Hehe. No worries, no matter how much we disagree on, an opinion is just an opinion after all.

Yep, those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it.

I agree kinda silly isnt it? But then again, would the French actually *want* to be associated with a food stuff notorious for its high cholestoral and saturated fats? LOL!!! We might just be insulting these folks calling them French Fries in the first place! LOL!!!
