As for dealing with Taliban and terrorists, imo we should try to get the Islamic nations to deal with it themselves, but offer support and backup. That way, the West won't be stepping on their toes YET AGAIN as we are doing now.

Would have to be in a global context, with all as equals to fight terrorism... To ask Islamic governments to 'deal' with the Taliban as things currently stand - it would put them in an impossible situation as regards their own people, many of whom now, after events during the past two months, are becoming more pro Taliban because more anti-West (due to the bombing and the killing of civilians). Osama's propaganda is having its effect in many quarters. As I said, a global body, with the Arab world as honoured members who would be able to offer invaluable advice, insight, and information, not to mention action.

Are You Serious?

You are comparing the leader of America to a slimy leader of a terrorist group? This is not acceptable, even if it is a joke! What are you thinking? I don't always support Bush, but I think you have gone way too far SC!

Now, If I can only pull my tongue from my cheek and get serious (yeah, right) I'll continue!

Actually I'm beginning to see Mr. Bush as trying to be Emperor of America who wants all he deems to be law and if you don't agree you are against him. All nations are on notice. I have to go now, I believe it is time for me to go jail for treason!

Wouldn't work. They'd get their bottoms whalloped.

Really? I thought the US was the mightiest and most undefeatable country in the world! You truly mean they can be defeated? *gasp* 'Tis impossible!

Well, then maybe they could at least use elite land troops in the areas where there is a large chance of hitting civilians when bombing?
