My prayers will be with Clinton as he undergoes his surgery. He's only 58 years old.

Don't be too hard on him. We're the only social interaction he has

I have no sympathy for traitors. Men who commit high treason deserve to hang.

Selling missile secrets to the Chinese for personal profit is high treason.

The Rosenbergs stood to do more than eliminate US superiority in the military world with their sale to the Soviets, they made a ton of money as well.

I've had relatives who have gone through surgery before and I hope he makes it through okay. Then I hope someday he stands trial and hangs. Or at the very least, the sonofabitch could repent for his sins to someone.

Now now now, no need to go slapping your purse at someone because you don't like what they have to say...Certainly, such condescensions are way below acceptable conduct standards on most forums, I'll assume this one included.

That you thought you were being funny somehow is downright laughable.

Then again, Klin-Ton didn't sell your missile secrets to the Chinese, now did he?

If you'r were joking, then you must have an extremly weird sense of humour. I admit that I behaved inappropriatly, but Oblivion's nasty comment on Clinton really pissed me off.

Oblivion, are you by any chance Ann Coulter? Or a fan? And do you realize what you're saying? Accusing someone of treason is kind of a serious thing. I haven't even accused George W of something that bad.

[/QUOTE]Does ruining the economy with the largest deficiet in history and risking the eventual collapse of a nation count as treason? I don't acually think that George Bush is commiting treason. I'm just trying to show you how ridiculous your statement is. What Clinton did was corrupt, but you're going to far by accusing him of treason.

No, I'm not a Conservative, and unlike Ann Coulter, I consider treason a serious charge, obviously one worthy of putting a man to the rope for. I feel Klinton deserves this for what he did.

First, that assumes Bush ruined the economy, or had the power to, and no, it wouldn't. Bad fiscal and domestic policy? Sure. Treason, no...

Man, these two acts, being a bad president, and being a back-door-dealing Top-Secret selling crook are two different things. The point of enforcement on one isn't even in the same ballpark. What Bush did is just plain wrong, I'll grant you. I hate Bush quite a bit. Sumbitch has wasted plenty of the taxpayers' money on more than one moneypit/boondoggle of spurious intentions. That much is true. However, he never did anything truly out-and-out criminal with his power, unlike say, Richard Nixon, who used his control of America's intelligence apparatus to spy on the DNC to ensure his victory in the 1972 election. Of course, if everyone had known every DNC candidate was self-destructive, and that McGovern was really no better than Musky, well, who wants to talk flying pigs anyways?

Corrupt? I'm going too far? Holy shit! You do realize you're saying that my calling an act of selling top military secrets to a serious potential threat to the security of the nation treason is "going too far." That's one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. Corrupt and betraying your country for your own gain are two very different things. Bush happens to be at least a little corrupt, all politicians are (this doesn't make it right of course) but Klinton did something that makes corrupt sound like praise. Corrupt would be a kind word in his case. So I hope he recovers from the surgery, enjoys some years of good health, and then answers for his sins against his fellow Americans. And if he doesn't, well, I hope his getting away with it kills the American dream that much faster, that we realize that much more clearly how far we've fallen.

You do know we sent the Rosenbergs to the gas chamber for it, right?

What sort of 'missile secrets' did he sell by the way? Just so I know what I should start saving up my pennies for....

Yeah, that's the thing... Call me an idgit but I don't remember hearing about that. If he did that, why did people try to crucify him with the stain on a dress and not that?
