Seriously, I was just raising the issue, that most laws are meant for society and not for the individual (because you need no law when you're on your own ). In addition to that you do not only risk your own skin, but also have a negative influence on everybody who sees you. Of course people should be responsible enough to obey the law by themselves, but in the sense of general prevention society has to punish behaviour which it does not deem right and potentially harmful to it.
