That pig of a hockey team the Calgary Flames tied the series up last night.. but now the Canucks on Sunday night shall reclaim glory.

Prepare to be destroyed Flames.

What upsets me is that the Ottawa Senators made to the semi finals last year only to be defeated in the seventh game by New Jersey.

I know! It would have been much better had they been eliminated immediately. *giggles* This year they won't make it past the first round though.

The running dog Flames have lost.. it is their destiny to lose.. only the Vancouver Canucks have the winning cheer behind them.

Okay, I've got to jump in... Sorry, Vancouver... no Bertuzzi, no Cloutier... life's gonna get better while your golf game does.

And the Avs? Sorry, but I don't think so. Saint Patrick's facade was cracking, and Davey ain't reached sainthood yet.

My beloved Wings? Boy, I'd like to hope so, but even though Manny's been playing great, Hatcher was not the pickup we needed. And it cost us Sunday, a couple of times.

I'm thinking... San Jose. Why? 'Cause there are more reasons against everyone else.

And on the other side, Philly. Sorry, Willow, but the Leafs aren't going far.

The flames won again. They need 1 more game to move on.

VANCOUVER -- Breaking the seven-year playoff drought was huge. Now comes the chance to end 15 years of first-round heartache.

Thanks to last night's 2-1 victory, the Calgary Flames return home with a chance to win their first playoff series since 1989, their Stanley Cup year.

I am not posting to rub it into Canuck fans. OK, maybe I am a little bit. Vancouver still have a chance to win the next two games in a row.

Sorry Djinn, but without Cloutier I don't think the Canucks are going very far. Auld can't get the job done and it seems to me that Hedburg's confidence has to have taken a hit after getting sat out for game 5.

If Sutter keeps his grinders working and gets some production out of his top scorers then it's Calgary in 7.
