I don't think so. Not as long as Western troops remain in Iraq.
Saddam was behnd a sizeable part of the attacks against cohalition troops. With him out, things should stabilize a bit. No point in getting killed because of the orders of someone who will never come back to see if you carried them out, don't you think?
Of course the attacks inspired by Islamistic radical groups will not cease.
We don't know yet if he personally directed the attacks or if he just desperately tried to hid from the Coalition's troops. We'll have to wait and see what the interrogations with him will reveal.

Man he looks stupid with a beard, you can barely even recognise him.
I dont know how he lived as long as he did in that little cave/Hole.
Yeah, if it had grown a few more feet, and wrapped a turban around his head, he would have looked like Osama Bin Laden!

The first reports of him being an actor are coming through. claims that the real Saddam has been sighted in a Florida retirement home with Elvis are as yet unconfirmed
I don't think he personally directed the attacks, he was hunted after all. But he was inspiring them. And paying for them, parhaps.
Now that he has been captured, there is no point to fight. It is a psychological thing - he was the regime, and he is truly no more.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see. As far as I know, it's still unknown what exactly what kinds of people are behind the attacks on Coalitions' troops in Iraq. But political experts have divided them into three groups:
 • Saddam loyalists- Will probably cease their attacks soon.
 • Nationalists- Anti-Saddam, but also anti-US. May continue their attacks.
 • Islamic terrorists- Some are from within Iraq, while others may come from other countries. Most of them didn't like Saddam Hussein so they are all happy he's gone but that doesn't mean that they like the US either.
I'm just saying we haven't heard the last about Iraq yet. There are still some groups un-affiliated with Saddams regime out there.

Will he then go and live in the UFO orbiting the planet, that Elvis has been living in for a while?
