I agree with TImber in his first post. These kinds of abortions are a disgrace, much like the ones used in China (for unauthorized pregnancies). Although I am a pro-abortionist I believe this procedure should only be the last alternative if the pregnancy threatens the mother's life.

This I don't like though. One life is not worth more than another. It is not the judges or elected representatives responsibility to make a live or die choice for a mother. If a pregnancy is deemed fatal for the woman then it is her choice if she wants to risk her life to have her baby or not. What I meant Willow, was that "absent bodily threat" to the mother, at some point during the pregnancy the fetus's right to live outweighs the mother's right to choose. That's what I meant. Not that the fetus should ever be allowed to pose a real threat on the mother's life -- unless she should choose it.

Mmmkay, then I misunderstood. But the quote looks to me like the baby's rights supersede the mother's. Anyway I am not that well versed in Roe vs. Wade. [img]smile.gif[/img]
