Donut, the reason that the ACLU gave for their attempts to stop the recall was that the punch card ballot was confusing to minorities. I'm sorry but I have used them and they are not confusing. They are rather easy to use.

Well KDogRex, there is a difference between between getting addicted to painkillers because of pain from a back injury and surgery, and some crack head who just wants that high. pain will make you do things you normally wouldn't in an attempt to make the pain go away.

This fine, upstanding man who once proclaimed that drug addicts should be locked in jail and the key thrown away manages to get imself addicted to what is referred to as "Hillbilly Heroin?" The irony of it is too funny to even contemplate...I love it. Now, if we could just get Howard Stern too...
ROFL. GOOD POST!

From the Onion

Limbaugh Says Drug Addiction A Remnant Of Clinton Administration
WEST PALM BEACH, FL—Frankly discussing his addiction to painkillers, conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh told his radio audience Monday that his abuse of OxyContin was a "remnant of the anything-goes ideology of the Clinton Administration." "Friends, all I can say is 'I told you so,'" said Limbaugh, from an undisclosed drug-treatment facility. "Were it not for Bill Clinton's loose policies on drug offenders and his rampant immorality, I would not have found myself in this predicament." Limbaugh added that he's staying at a rehab center created by the tax-and-spend liberals.

Oh yeah, Rush never said this either:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1644266

but since a minority said it, nothing to see here.

and they say there's no media bias.

Wow, if I hadn't checked the Onion info on Rush blaming the Clinton Admin for his addiction, I would have almost made a very foolish post!!!

DONUT!!!! Good to see you again. For the past couple of years I've been working a strangely scheduled job and didn't have the opportunity to post that often. I see that the board has chenged a bit in my absence (seems to swing a little further to the right than it used to) but all in all it's the same bunch of great people, plus a TON of new great people to get to know!! HI EVERYONE!!!

That's all well and good and I see your point, but I don't know if you understand mine. Rush Limbaugh has treated people with contempt who find themselves in a position where they are hooked on drugs in any situation (his comments are well documented) for years, all the while building a drug addiction of his own so severe that he has become implicated in a massive investigation into the black market trafficking of this hillbilly heroin. He is exactly what he has villified for years and they hypocracy of it is that of his own, staunch religious beliefs failing him when he's boasted for years that that's what makes him better than all of us.

It should be noted that the oxy-Crack-in black market is partial fuel by the armed robbery of pharmacies. There were so many robberies around these parts, that pharmacies no longer carry oxycotin on-hand on the advise of the police. According to the signs posted, it takes 24 hours to get a Oxycotin prescription filled.

Rush is not only an addict, but an addict that was allegedly involved in supporting a criminal black market fuel by violence. Its good thing he is seek helping, but it serves no one to gloss-over exactly what he was involved in unless you want to practice denial and selective reasoning. Can't blame the liberals for this one.
