I'm not afraid to end up underwater either, it's more the material damage, potential loss of life and the cost of rebuilding that I'm worrying about.

Seriously, the article doesn't necessarily attribute this to global warming, caused by humans or otherwise, but it also hasn't been ruled out. Whatever, we citizens of the world need to stay on top of such issues, ignorance may only be bliss til it kills you or your civilization as the case maybe.
