Now before I begin, let me state that when I use the term "US," I am not refering to every US citizen, but am directing my comments more towards the US government

I have long thought that the US government is deluded with paranoia. Not to get off topic here, but perhaps the US needs to drop a little of it's narcissitic attitude, and took a good long look at why "the terrorists are out to get them."

Anyone have any ideas why? so far as i could see the reasons were religeous, and the US government couldnt solve them except by stopping many of the US citezens freedoms. doesnt seem a fair reason to attack someone, just because they dont follow your religeon.

IMHO, the US has a narcissitic complex, everyone else should be like the US, everyone should worship the US because they have freedom, rights, a constitution. That's fine, but when it start's to crammed down everyone's throat that's when the problems start.

Many will say that the terrorists are afraid of freedom, but I say what about all the other countries that have freedom that are not terrorist targets?

I believe it's the "might makes right" stance.

We see it all the time. If 99 out of 100 of the robberies of a store are comitted by a specific ethnic group. It is perfectly reasonable for the store owner to be a bit jumpy when those ethnic types enter his store. Altho I will say it isn't required that he open up on them the instant they enter without first finding out if they intend to rob the place.

Just remember this guys story paints him as a reasonable innocent person who was picked on for no other reason that he looked middle eastern. He may not have been as calm, cool and collected as the story makes it appear. the NYPD isn't the only one who could have been called to get info....anyone see the journalist mention interviewing the bus driver?

Well golly gee let's see....Now why would these animals attack us and not, say, Canada? Because Canada is run by left wing wackos who will bend over backward to accomodate these bastards. Wouldn't want to seem like meanies would they? And they hate us because we don't enslave our women and treat them like dogs. Because we don't have a government that brutalizes our people. Or maybe it's that we don't wish to force our way of life on those who do not want it.

WTF are you talking about? Bend over backwards to accomodate terrorists? Okay so why not atttack France, Australia, Germany, Britain, Spain, Italy, Mexico...do I need to continue. Grab a globe and check out all the countries around the world that are free, that don't enslave women and that don't have governments that brutalize people. Why not one of those?
