You'd be surprised how long it takes for people to notice...
That's not a reproach, it's perfectly understandable on a forum so huge as this one. I've caught myself doing it sometimes (suddenly realising you haven't talked to such-and-such in ages). I would hope everybody realises that, because it's the same as the popularity contests thing. Of course everybody who leaves will be missed, but most of us will get over it, after all there are so many people remaining. That said, of course we all have a few people that we really miss/would miss, and we'll probably keep contact with.

Well said, ambrosia-voice. Check the Epic Threads thread, btw, a bit of nostalgia there.

GrandRanger, the old blue board was a lot smaller, it was like living in a small town where everyone knew each other and it was easier to notice if someone hadn't been there in a while. As we get bigger it's harder to keep track of everyone, but it always pays to give a shoutout to let them know that they've been missed.

*Moiraine has been away on vacation, I believe. Not sure what's up now, but I have heard from her a few weeks ago before her vacation started.

*bilqis-dealing with rl no doubt, but is around
*Charean- posted not long ago about her trucking adventures
* LadyRae- as you know, she left IW of her own voilition and is posting under other names in other forums
* Relic- sorry, no idea where our friend the Relic has gotten to lately
* Wah- he's posted a bit off and on, but not really recently.
* RudeDawg- He's been dealing with some serious rl issues.
* Black Knight is posting sporadically, saw something last week, I believe. Spoke to him a few days ago and he's fine, but busy

*Asphyxiate- well I know he's around, but haven't seen him post lately
* Accord- really wonder what he's up to, miss him cheerfully telling me I'm spamming as he approaches my numbers!
* Harkoliar has been posting off and on
* Hellfire- haven't seen his cantankerous self around in ages! Really do miss that one!
* Shadowstrider left the forum, but has his own forums to tend to I think
* turbovee, most likely still dealing with his rl and move and at any rate was spending less time online
* Charlie, most likely busy doing Charlie stuff and not in close proximity to a computer.
* Armisael- Now there's one I've missed heartily and I haven't heard from him since he posted here to preserve his nick. Would love to know how his married life is going!

Wow! I'm surprised that I've been missed. Thank you for the mention. I really won't be on as much as I was for awhile. My job heats up about now, and will be crazy busy til mid-November, when I HOPE to be moving/settling into my new house with 3 of my sons. Who knows tho... depends on how this tediously slow divorce process goes. And that's the other thing, I'm in the midst of a divorce -- soon-to-be-ex-husband's idea -- and that means I'm not feeling entirely social either. I do check in and lurk from time to time tho, and have not 'left' as have other members.

The ones I know about are:
Charean... already been mentioned as driving her big rig around

Draconia is working now, and looking at moving. She doesn't have time to come online much anymore. There's certainly more, but that's what I learned the last time we chatted on MSN.

LadyRae lurks here from time to time, but is running her own web sites & forums these days. I haven't spoken with her for a long time now, so there may be more news but I'm not up on it.

Moiraine .. hope I'm not being presumptuous Moiraine, but she is back from vacation and is online less than before. She is devoting more time to her family I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Relic has very limited time online, and a dial-up connection on an old computer. He said it takes so long to load a page he just doesn't come here much anymore so he can use his online time for other things. He is getting a new computer soon tho, so that may change? He is doing fine otherwise.

That's about all I know.. and it's accuracy is questionable.
