OK, who could read that? You wouldn't believe how many lame pages I come across that have that garbage all across them. Give me LOL, L8R, etc. anyday!

Here's an example of one:

http://www.panix.com/~clays/biff

In my opinion, Biff needs some SERIOUS HELP.

Hey Saz, you forgot that it is not enough for them to just substitute numbers whenever possible, they have to switch between caps and lower case as well, to make your life truly miserable. Luckily you don't see stuff like that anywhere but hacker sites for the most part. Only wannabe hackers type sh*t like that.

Ahem Moni, I would've never ever figured that out in a million years. I guess you're used to it with your son constantly typing like that. By the way the *lazy* way of typing, using more characters than the normal way. It is pointless!

Bah! Casual shift keying is for people who can't handle the terrifying power of the caps-lock!

well, i was gonna say laziness, but after reasing Saz's example it cant possibly be that! its just incompotence! ive said it before and ill say it again, all education systems are going down the drain. i try to avoid internet lingo whenever possible, i just use the basic brb, lol, afk, crap like that. never once have i said l8r, or anything in that example Saz gave us. also, have you even tried to read some 'elitist' words? ill go find an example and bring it here for you: 'ph33r th3 r34p3r'. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A WORD! there are things like this all over the internet, weve already brought 2 examples to you (i just figured out what this said! ITS NOT EVEN SPELLED RIGHT!)

Well I agree to some of it Jerome. That line you put in first, thats plain stupid. Alittle is ok, overdoing it is well, not good. It is not cool, but might also be something of an subculture growing..

I had to learn all that lingo just about 9 months ago. I had no idea what people were saying. I guess I have gotten used to the standard ones that we all know. But, sometimes, someone will still throw in one I don't know and I have to ask. Recently, I was hit with BBIAS------Be Back In A Second. Why couldn't it have been the standard BRB?
