Can one of you Simpson's fans verify this for me if you remember it.
There was an episode where Lisa asked Bart "If you had a band, what would you call it?"
Bart's answer, "Smashmouth!"

This was long before the band "Smashmouth" made it big and I have always been curious if that Simpson's episode was where they got their band's name.
Not that we could verify that, but am I correctly remmebering that conversation between Lisa and Bart?

So you'se Simpson's fans pay attention to my question before this thread falls off onto page two.
I have been looking for an aswer for a few years if you know how long Smashmouth has been about but haven't watched enough Simpson's retuns to catch that episode again.
I am hoping one of you knows what I am talking about so that I won't have to tune in and watch all the others all over again LOL!

My son can mimick it exactly and the phrase goes through my head a lot but as different kinds of foods!
