In reply to the questions,

Yes you get a bigger stash, but with the new gear added, and the upped drop rates, I still have too much crap that i carry around. If you want some more information on why I have a storage problem I can expand, but the main reason is the new jewels, runes, gems, armour/weapon sets, etc..etc... sheesh too much!

On the new hireling staying with you, yes it is the same one. It states it in the new manual, and if you notice when she/he dies, you can run back to the mercanery (in any town, not the one you got he/she from) and get your old one resseructed (sp...shoot me )
My rogue hireling is comming along nicely, only one level behind me in development.

You can also equip your hireling, but only with weapons that it can use. You can't give a rogue a polearm, and you can't give the warriors bows, and so on. I usually get resist gear for mine.

Been having a blast with it. Dang, between AC, D2 LoD, and I got BGII ToB, and Tribes, and all the other crap, I don't get to do as much as i want...
I got a laundry list of games to get, sheesh, maybe i can just stop sleeping...

1) Assassin
2) Baal, by far (Diablo is VERY hard, but Bhaal is even harder...)
3) MorganaAlexia (Named after one of my 3 year old twins), Level 63 Ice Sorceress
4) See questions 1 and 2
5) Store 'em! Those gem shrines REALLY pay off in the long run
6) Several, but the best all around item I would have to say is still an SOJ (Or a dual leech ring...if you are fortunate enough to possess such a thing)

If I had read the manual, I would have noticed that! I am not a cover-to-cover manual reader, except with Baldursgate.
Its great being able to resurect your hireling, because they (it) is really useful.
I have yet to fill up the new stash (it is quite big too), though I am sure I will in the future!

Good gaming to ya's all!
