Im pretty sure he had his wifes lover hanged, and merely had his wife imprisioned. But depending on certain roleplaying decisions you make, the outcome to the situation can be different.

What aggravates me about the Keldorn's Family quest is that the response choices you're given for your crucial first answer are VERY misleading. In my first game, where I roleplayed Good (Undead Hunter, Keldorn, Mazzy, Aerie, Imoen & Jan), I suggested that Keldorn go take his case to the courts, figuring that some older, wiser soul would calm Keldorn down and not be so rash. Whoops, his wife's in prison and Sir William's dead. Then, in my Evil party, I suggested that Keldorn go find the bastard and kill him (Yeah! Kill! Kill!), only to find out that if you take that path, killing Sir William is the one thing Keldorn WON'T do. Irritating....

i actually went with keldorn to meet up with the jerk who was playing house. he told keldorn that it was his fault. Keldorn went away for 3 days (as usual) and when he came back, he asked to leave me so he could be with his family. (he quit the order)
