I can't believe this board is politically motivated - it ate my post! nuts
Cloudy, babe, I forgive you. We all do things in our life that we wish we could take back, I can certainly not cast the first stone. Have to admit some suprise at the overseas response to my post. Oh, well the liberal bias of the press - both print and electronic - is a suprise only to those who seek not the facts of the matter. In a badly UNDER-reported survey by the Pugh research center, 92% of US media self-reported themselves as being liberal, and voting that way as well. What's funny is that their international counterparts only 87% had the same response. I have verified the liberal bias of the press myself, and I talk not out the other end of my anatomy, either. My first degree is in communications - mass communications and public relations, to be exact. I know how to and have done semantic and content quantitative analysis of reporting in our country and abroad, the results are nothing short of astounding - the bias is easy to see. Rikard, I know not where you got your info, but I hope you can get your money back for it. The opposite is actually true- The demographically typical self-identified conservative has 2.7 years more education, 1.3 less kids, and $7,600.00 more annual income than their liberal counterpart. I LOVE THIS STUFF!! Come one, come all, opposing political theory utterly destroyed by factual information free of charge this week! Ramon ty for the sig comments, but the true credit must go to sir stealthy, not only did he give it to me, he even 'splained for my poor internet ignorant brain how to do it! All I did was file off the serial numbers and claim it as my own He has alot of cool stuff on his site, you should go there, and i would put in the link, but am too dumb to know how, go to communities.msn.co.uk/StealthysSite and look there! For those of you who like to defend Clinton, I suggest you not look at the next post without your nitroglycerin tablets ready, or please abstain if you are at high risk of stroke. ------------------ When given a choice, take both. |

That was cool how you matched the two pics together like that. On my puter, it looks like there is lightning going on behind the text. One continuous line of electricity. Well done.
Oh yeah, if you want a link for a site, just type it out. http://www.planescape-torment.com There are modifications to this but that's the easiest. ------------------ Death Waits 4 U ALL [This message has been edited by Tobbin (edited 03-10-2001).] |

What, no takers? JJ sits patiently, stropping sword of truth,+5, special abilities: dispell unbelievers 3x daily, liberals save vs. truth -5, or must admit the fact of the matter, ability to argue based on emotion or feelings lost permanently.

JJ: I take it you are a republican then? It's cool, I felt Clinton did a fine job running the country but I'm not under any illusions by thinking he always did things by the book. When you get as high up in the ranking order as the President of The United States there are always gonna be matters that have to be "handled" in a discreet matter. As for that Ken Starr and his urge to taint Clinton I can only say one thing, billions of dollars spent and what is the outcome, BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WASTED! Who cares if he got head by someone else than is wife? Not me! Put the money into healthcare and stuff like that where it does some good.
But this doesn't mean I'm a die hard Democrat! Please don't take it that way! cheerio ------------------ Vicotnik, archmage of the Holy Flame - Challenge me... and die. |

Did Clinton run the country that well or did he manage to enjoy and prolong an economic coattails ride off the work George Sr. started? If Gore voters are more educated, then why were democratic voters in certain counties unable to follow simple, well posted directions about how to punch thier cards? Let's not forget who decided before the election that these punch cards were appropriate- yep, that's right, they were democrats. (but we republicans are the baddies, right?) Gee, the crime rate among Gore supporters is six times that of Bush supporters? Really? From the political party that encourages you to let your neighbors raise your child? And wants me to pay for it?(remember 'it takes a village'? sure, but more importantly it take parents. Did you get that? ParentS- two if them!) The media doesn't like Bush? Wow! Think it's because he's short on scandals? Maybe it's because his wife is a normal woman who enjoys being a wife and mother and who has no desire to usurp her husband's spotlight?
Augh! I could go on for hours! JJ- ROFLMAO- great joke! can't wait to share it! PS- Hey, want to know what else you can discover about statistics? You can use them to prove just about anything! The butter production of Bangledesh directly correspondes with US stock market and statistically should be the perfect way predict what's going to happen in the near future. Are you willing to invest 100's of dollars on that comparison? |
