Another quick question

Spoilers of course

My ghoul. The girl, heather - is she worth keeping? The stupid gal just offered me her college loan! I can't tell her to stay at school without telling her to leave me completely. She doesn't get killed does she?

What kind of vampire are you? You're supposed to use your ghoul...

I'd keep her around, you get dialogs every once in a while, and it help the Vampire feel.

Erm, a Ventrue vampire with the highest humanity rating possible? One of the Damned striving to make a Saint looked Satanic? Heh.

Sissy Toreado? The master swordsman Gerard demands you to retract that statement, lest he resize you to urn size!
Toreadors in the game have been overbalanced IMHO. They realized that their particular combination of perks somehow made up to be overly powerful, so they decided to make a statement in making the Toreador a purely powergaming vamp. Every single unique line with the Toreador vampires will either move you away from your objectives, or ruin what little progress you've made with an individual.
On the other hand, Brujah, the vamps I deign to be on the verge of being overpowered, are left perfectly unharmed by with convo options. Gangrel have a bonus here and there, the Malkavians are an experience in themselves, and their convo options are only harmed in one instance. Nosferatu, contrary to what you might expect, are relatively untouched by any of the convo options, hurt only on the one area that Malks are hirt in as well. The other clans work normally.

That's wierd... why would they do that though? It seems a bit unfair. I mean, ruining the Toreador speach options. I guess I can see why they did, but... meh.

Yeah, Toreador are great in this game. My first character was a Toreador female with the speed skill maxed, that was awesome.

I never had problems with their dialogs, I used them a lot, and they worked nice.

The thing to remember is that if they always gave the best option to the Toreador dialog, then what would be the point of the other social skills? Toreador are supposed to be the ones that like to raise those...

I suppose. I don't tend to use "normal" dialogue anyway. I've a tendancy to use seduction, persuade and dominate.
