Spring break is usually at the end of March (at least it is for me).

I think that would be great! I'm probably going to get Jade Empire, if I get a job or not. I suppose I should... 66¢ in the bank account isn't very much to spend nowadays. And maybe if they aren't busy enough seperate, you could combine the two?

Sound nice Ziroc, but will it have people who post there to keep it 'floating' ? TOEE or the Sacred board before was nice but ultimately it just didn't work out.

Yeah, though I think a "Console" forum would do alot better, it also may not be as active as we all want it to be... Then again, im probably comparing it to GD which isnt a good idea

A) Its spring break, so more people are off playing gates and whatnot.
B) KOTOR 1-2 were released recently, so its natural that more people would be playing.
C) The mods are for the most part item addons, and do not add much to discuss.
C)
Kotor 1 was released a long time ago... People still talk about it. They would talk more if there was a forum dedicated to it, I'm sure.

But Luvian, both KotOR games are pretty straight forward, you gotta be pretty daft if you get completely stuck in this game. Every riddle is explained to you in some datapad, all you need to do is find it. I know there are walkthroughs for this game, but who here really needed one ? I for one never had to search for answers, it's play and go and never look back. To dedicate an entire forum to such a simple game as KotOR would be a complete waste of bandwidth.

Don't get me wrong, i really love this series, but a forum entirely for KotOR would probably be filled with useless info such as "who's your favorite character" and "what's your favorite color Lightsabre", nothing that can't be discussed in a few single threads in the misc games forum. I'm not just guessing this, but i KNOW this is what it's gonna be like, by looking how things go on other sites that have KotOR forums, like Gamebanshee for instance.

If Z has bandwidth to spare, he'd better save it for Elder Scrolls 4, which is soon to be released. Now that's a game that's gonna create some serious discussions, and will raise all sorts of questions, mark my words.

People still manage to talk about Icewind Dale.

That's different, Icewind Dale is a game in which you can get pretty lost from time to time, make you want to browse a forum, looking for answers. If that happens to you when playing KotOR, i'd say you're in the wrong business and perhaps you'd be better off playing Donkey Kong or some such.

What i mean is, a forum only has a purpose if people can help eachother when they're stuck, share different experiences. That's not the case in KotOR, because you CAN'T get stuck in that game. All that's left to talk about then is how my Jedi dresses better than yours, my Lightsabre is bigger than yours, and my Wookie smells worse than yours. Like i said...mostly useless info.
