FINALLY!!! At long last I've found it!!
Well it was behind the ruined building (basically just a bunch of scattered walls) behind the slavers place. The problem was that at first I didn't know what I was looking for, and then I was looking for the wrong thing. It wasn't a white object at all. It was more of a tan book. Bugger, once your out of the Den the game gets ten times more confusing. Fallout 1 was much simpler [ 04-30-2004, 06:58 PM: Message edited by: Firestormalpha ]

Well, I'm just about irritated with the confusion of the game, I'm going back to Fallout 1. Most irritating is that you don't know when your running out of time in this game, in the first one they give you a nice post it note that counts down your days. (RPG's with tight time limits bother me, Fallout one gives you plenty of general direction to complete the mission on time, even an option for extra time. Fallout 2 has more than enough distractions to keep you from saving your village)

Hmm found out something I didn't know about Fallout 1 the last time I played. You can get radiation from being poisoned. Strangely that's never occurred before. I also had a rather interesting random encounter for once. An Alien craft mostly buried in the sand with two alien corpses next to it. One had a ray gun that works "with small energy cells, however..." And the other carried a portrait of Elvis Presly(sp?) worth 300 caps.
I had thought that perhaps the guns "however" clause was the problem but then I dropped the gun and waited out the poison only to gain rad levels. And If I see the doctor in Shadysands I only gain 1 level.

Personally, I didn't find Fallout 2 that confusing. I enjoyed its' complexity. As Harkoliar said though, refer to your Pipboy often. |

hmm.. i cant seem to recall properly whether it was fallout 1 or fallout 2 so spoil ahead just in case. getting the dog (not the robotic bot) has a pro and con.
Good thing, its a great dog.. and gives enemies bad luck.. the bad thing.. so do you. .
