No problem. Be sure to pick them up on your next game.

After finishing the game as Scout-Guardian (1H expert), Scout-Sentinel (dual wield), Scout-Sentinel (1H expert) and Soldier-Sentinel (dual wield), I am starting a new game with dual wielding Scout-Guardian.

IMO, only Soldier-Guadian and Scout-Guardian can afford to dual wield because of the relatively high attack bonus and damage bonus (lightsabre specialization).

Soldier Guardian seems to be a good choice for pure fighter class but the skill points are too low and makes the game a little bit uninteresting, unless you are playing as a dark Jedi.

The other classes combinations are too poor for dual wielding because of the low attack bonus, which means you will miss a lot more and get hit pretty often.

For a dual wielding jedi, an overall "to hit" should be ideally at +29 or +30.

For a single handed expert, you should be able to obtain as high as +35 or better "to hit" bonus, which is sadly to say, a bit superior to dual wielding Jedis in term of attack bonus and defense bonus.

Nevertheless, I still like the ideal of dual wielding or using double bladed light sabers. Plus, they look cool and intimidating.

why dont you try dark jedi for one ? it would be interesting and having two dark jedi ladies by your side

its kinda easy actually to turn into a baddie.. just threaten them after you do thier quest for more rewards than normal.

sorry, but that just isn't true. if you have two weapon fighting maxed and use either a dualblade saber or a regular/small saber combo your attack bonuses only go down by -2/0. that means it actually makes little sense NOT to dualwield.

You misunderstood me, frudi_x.

Even if you have maxed out the two handed fighting feat, your penalty for dual wielding is almost insignificant, but on the other hand, it doesn't help to improve you attack rating:

Other class combinations only grant you maximum attack bonus of +17. But for any class+Guardian combination, you get maximum or +18 attack bonus or +19 if you saves up your level up until you reach Dantooine. For example, a 4/16 Scout-Guardian gains +19 attack bonus in expense of additional feats.

To counter this, you can either pump more stat point into either Strength or dexterity, but doing so will also means that you will have less points to pump up on your wisdom rating and your force powers are easier to resist. This is especially true for dark Jedis because they can't benefit from wisdom bonus items, such as Circlet of Saresh and the Qel-Droma Robe.

For other class combination other than the Guardian, the dueling feat (1 handed fighting) seems to be more "attractive" because at master level, you will gain an additional +3 attack and +3 defence rating.

Although a +26 or +27 dual wielding Jedi still fights quite well, I noticed that my avatar is still no match for Malak when comes to good old lightsabre fighting.

But when I restart the game with a pure one handed melee fighter, my jedi kick Malak's backside big big time. a few good whacks and he is already down on his knees.

Anyway, how you choose to build up your character is up to you. But for me, I wouldn't sacrifice all the other stats just to "kick ass" in combats. I would rather choose a nice selection of available skills and feats which complements my jedi class for maximum efficiency in terms of gameplay and combat prowess.

Oh I tried, but I just can't seems to be mean to other computer generated pixels. Maybe, just maybe, if I try a little harder...

I have a small problem with KOTOR...my colouring is a little odd. The sewer water goes through a series of colour changes before reverting to the normal one, and then cycling through colours again...my characters hair has also glowed blue, yellow, red...etc., the same set of colours. And now my lightsaber is red, even with a blue crystal inside it (my first lightsaber)...it also was green when I first got it...any idea what could be causing this screw up?

Carth bug... is that the one that happened after leviathan if your PC (player character) is cloaked while releasing the prisoners?

I think the odd color thingy is the compatibility issue with Redeon cards, maybe applying the latest driver would help.

Harkoliar,

Yesss, master... I am ready.
