Man, I seem to be the niche gamer of the forums. WHat's up with that?

Anyway, I dislike the FF series as a whole. The only mainstream ones I think are must-plays are FF6 and 9. The rest are pretty damned mediocre.

FF-Tactics doesn't count as an FF game, because Square just likes to tag "Final Fantasy" onto things to make it sell better. Of course, it does have chocobos... Still, one of my favorite games.

You guys sound like you're bored of the common-place game (as am I.) I highly, highly suggest you go check out any game done by tri-Ace (such as Star Ocean 2 and Valkyrie Profile) or any game in the "Tales Of" series (Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny, etc.)

I second that motion Beoulve. StarOcean:Second Story rocked (though I have yet to beat it), I can't wait till SO: Till the End of Time comes out. I've played Tale's of Phantasia (in a slightly illigitemate manner) It was cool except one time a glitch occurred which gave me max# of Saint Rapiers or something like that at the beginning of the game. I was set from that point on. I always wanted to pick up Valkyrie Profile, but I could never find it in GameStop or EB Games (one of which will hopefully be my future place of part-time employment.)

For me, my most unfavourite game of all is BG2 and BG. It was really not fun at all and very very boring too. It uses too many super long english sentense until I got a huge headache. The game atmosphere is soooooo dead and the music is soooooo dull. The game graphic is sometime eating your eyes until I have to stop playing for a while to rest my eyes. The game itself is soooo tedius that I have to micromanage everything. And the game is very very long.

I'm a huge FF fan but I hated FF7 and FFX. They both had some good parts but to me the bad out weighed the good in both. However my all time leader on the " This RPG Sucks" list would be Pool of Radiance. That steaming pile of poo had more bugs than the city dump and could crash your pc on a regular basis.

Might & Magic IX. The worst game I've ever played! And I only played it for about 10 minutes then I decided it was just taking unnecessary space on my harddrive!

Dragon Warrior, has some good points in the series but I just found it boring after playing FF.

Please, PLEASE tell me you hate FF8, as well...

Seriously, though, EVERY RPG has a lot of micromanaging. At least, all the good ones. Also, having "difficult" sentences is a HUGE plus to me. I don't play RPGs for fun, as I've discovered, but for an intellectual stimulus. As for the music, the BG series has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. Just because there isn't music at EVERY given moment does't mean nothing to me.

I just have one question... do you even really like RPGs?
