I'm not quit sure about this game. Whenever i hear 'real time combat' (without pause even) and 'RPG' together i get shivers.

JR,

Don't think "shooter" when you hear real time. If the game is like fallout or fallout 2, it won't have a real time shooter feel to it. As luvian said, think a medieval fallout. lol

Naah, real time combat here means, BG style of the real time combat. You get to pause to issue commands and then unpause to watch the action. If you needs to issue new commands to the PCs, you can pause the game again.

I really like playing as a female in Fallout 1 and 2. You sometimes had some... interesting... dialog options with other female npc.
