Thr fact they wiggled it about added to the scaele of its power. I destroyed Orion with one, to stop a friend getting it.

The politics couldn't be much harder than a cross of MOO2 and Medieval/Shogun. Hopefully.
moo2 and shogun mix would be a dream however i cant imagine you controlling ships and everything in 3d.. sounds like fun!

I heard that the combat in MOO3 has been tweaked a bit it seems. Ships will auto engage and the player would have a minimal control over each ship. And also, the last time I checked, the ship design is kind of like "automated" too. If this is true, this is a big setback because ship designs are one of my favorite part of the game in MOO1/MOO2.

Be sure to post a review (your very own review) when any of you have managed to get a copy.

All I ask is a simple review. If I had wanted a detailed review, I would probably get it from Gamespot

Question:

I have heard of MOO3 but have no idea what it is about

I know it's a space strategy and I've heard it's cool...but..

What's it all about?

Have you played Master of Orion before? It is a turn based space empire building game, sort of like Civilization but it has some extra "kick" like designing your own ships with various loadouts and weapons. If you wanted to give it a try, you can download the original game from some of the abandon sites; for example, Home of the Underdogs.
