I wouldn't go so far as to call Dungeon Siege a good game, but it was fun for a one time through. I enjoyed taking my army of characters through the rich 3D landscapes and killing everything in sight except for the few stagnant NPC's. However, like someone mentioned earlier, the AI is rather good and your characters will practically play the game for you unless you control them manually, which can get frustrating with such a large party in a 3D game.

The multiplayer was also fun for a couple days, until the frustration level reached the breaking point. Your progress in multiplayer is not saved and you have to manually activate the way points each game which makes picking up where you left off nearly impossible. The way points are only useful for returning back to a town after exploring the world. Great. Also, there aren't any NPC's available in MP so solo characters or small parties can run into some problems with the large mobs of enemies that often appear out of no where.

Anyway, if you have a good computer and the price is right, then Dungeon Siege could be fun for a week or three. But don't count on more than that out of this game. You'll notice that we once had a DS forum here at Ironworks, but it was taken down a few months ago and didn't even get a stay as a locked forum for archive use *hint* *hint*

There is a mod that make all waypoints and towers activated all the time. Very usefull.

I was the moderator of that forum. It was removed because it was not getting enough posts.
