For Spoiler information the Post should have SPOILER in its Title. Typical, when a post is submitted, the sender is asking for spoiler info or not.

For people replying - if the post has no request for spoiler info don't send any !!! Just hints or general advice.

This way people can stay clear of spoiler posts.

I see it this way: expose the problem and a handful of ppl will be aware of what to do and not to do. Exposure is gone and there will be ppl who will spoil at will. That's the case and may be the case with future posts. Just wait, watch, and see. When I came here, I saw tons and tons of spoiler information without proper tags, but thankfully, it was stuff before my time so I had no clue as to what they referred to.

Most ppl who I believe are regulars do attach a spoiler tag to their info. It's the people who seldomly visit the forum who will most likely give spoiler info without properly tagging it as such, and you know what.... because they don't frequent the forum as much, they may in fact miss out on this thread that should be directed to them. Am I still vague here?

It's good to reiterate what should be obvious to the -regulars-; this may also influence new posters( who have the chance to read this active post) to follow this courteous procedure. I don't think however it will stop future problems dealing with unwanted spoiler info, because once this thread gets buried, new posters will want to throw in their two cents without knowing.

Either keep this active for all new users, OR in your own SPOILER tag, explain why you tagged it SPOILER. What I would do( but won't)

create a txt file on your desktop and write something like these two things:

-----HINTS, HINTS, HINTS---- Do not attach spoiler if the poster wants clues instead of a walk-thru, if you post spoiler info without proper cause, you may ruin his experience so pls bear this in mind since it is part of the rules, these are -----HINTS, HINTS, HINTS----

SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER --- the poster wants to know the nitty gritty and he will find the walk-thru or know how in the below information. It's in the rules to tag your spoiler info as such. I REPEAT, this is a SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER----

Now with those two generic tags, no one has to worry anymore about doing their part the right way. Simply save em to a txt file and copy it to paste when seen fit. That's how I'd solve it, AND it lets new posters know what to do with a model to follow that doesn't entail html.
